Stumbling

Skipping today's morning lecture.. It's my first time skipping a lecture so far (unless you count PPDs)

While listening to K Love just now (K Love is a Christian radio station) I was just randomly sliding up and down the same main webpage while I was waiting to print some notes (I was giving my fingers some morning exercise XD), and then I stumbled upon the verse of the day on that same webpage..

"I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to Him, and He answered my prayer."
Psalm 120:1 (NLT)

Although I don't get the tingling feeling inside my heart like 'Whoa, God is speaking to me..' , but somehow I just know inside my head that He is. Again, I'm reminded, faith isn't just a feeling. It's its reality in your life.

Even when you don't feel it, Jesus still cares for you. :)

:)

Hi
Girl, you just caught my eye
thought I should give it a try
and get your name and your number
go grab some lunch and eat some cucumbers

WHY, DID I SAY THAT?
I don't know why.
But you're smilin' and it's something' I like
on your face, yeah it suits you
Girl, we connect like we have bluetooth

I don't know why
I'm drawn to you
Could you be the other one so we'd equal two?
And this is all based on a lucky chance
that you would rather add then subtract

You and I
could be like Sonny and Cher
honey and bears
You and I
could be like Aladdin and Jasmine
lets make it happen

La La's

Hey
How've you been?
I know that it's been awhile.
Are you tired 'cause you've been on my mind
runnin' thousand and thousands of miles
Sorry, I know that line's outta style
but you
you look so beautiful on that starry night
loving the way the moonlight catches your eyes and your smile
I'm captivated
your beauty is timeless never outdated

I don't know why
I'm drawn to you
Could you be the other one so we'd equal two?
and this is all based on a lucky chance
that you would rather add then subtract

You and I
could be like Sonny and Cher
Honey and bears
you and i could be like Aladdin and Jasmine lets make it happen

La la la

Babe
It's been 5 years since that special day
when I asked you on our first date
I guess it's safe to say

You and I
are better than Sonny and Cher
Honey and bears
You and I
Are better than Aladdin and Jasmine
We've made it happen

Lalalalalala

Let me say
You look so beautiful on our wedding day

Growing up

If I'm not mistaken, when I was in Form5, I came upon this poem. And now I stumbled upon it yet again. The difference? I actually get what the poem is trying to convey now. I seriously didn't get where the author was heading throughout the whole poem. Life's experiences do have an impact on the way you perceive stuff.

To let go does not mean to stop caring,
it means I can't do it for someone else.

To let go is not to cut myself off,
it's the realization I can't control another.

To let go is not to enable,
but allow learning from natural consequences.

To let go is to admit powerlessness, which means
the outcome is not in my hands.

To let go is not to try to change or blame another,
it's to make the most of myself.

To let go is not to care for,
but to care about.

To let go is not to fix,
but to be supportive.

To let go is not to judge,
but to allow another to be a human being.

To let go is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes,
but to allow others to affect their destinies.

To let go is not to be protective,
it's to permit another to face reality.

To let go is not to deny,
but to accept.

To let go is not to nag, scold or argue,
but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.

To let go is not to adjust everything to my desires,
but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it.

To let go is not to criticize or regulate anybody,
but to try to become what I dream I can be.

To let go is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future.

To let go is to fear less and love more
and
To let go and to let God, is to find peace!

Remember: The time to love is short

I asked God

I asked God for strength that I might achieve.
I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.

I asked for health that I might do greater things.
I was given infirmity that I might do better things.

I asked for riches that I might be happy.
I was given poverty that I might be wise.

I asked for power that I might have the praise of men.
I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.

I asked for all things that I might enjoy life.
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.

I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.

I am, among all men, most richly blessed

Okay I seriously don't have a title for this blog post. And I think I'm kinda 'rusty' in blogging already. Hey guysss!.... that check in on my blog I'm so honored to still be on your reading list *tears a bucket of tears* Hee! I know I haven't been updating for a reallyyyy long time. Been kinda busy. But most of the time I feel weird blogging, so I avoid it most of the time. But since 2010 is gonna end soon I decided to drop a few posts. X) Well, I won't be blogging about what has been happening in my life since my last post, which will take seriously Seriously SRZLYY long, so I'll be updating random things I remember most about 2010. For today.. it'll be all about movies that I remember watching this year.. Not all of 'em are released this year, though most of them are.

I think I'm very 'in' this year with movies. I broke my record of going to the cinema the-most-number-of-times this year. I don't even remember how many times I went.

Yeap! I think this is my first time watching a movie in 3D. I still remember it was during the last day of trials that I went out w my college friends to watch this. The movie was good. Though the ending was a little tiny biny sad to me. Mmmhmm. Oh and on the same day I watched Shutter Island too. Also my first time watching 2 movies back to back in the cinema. Oh and watching Shutter Island is also the first time I watched a thriller movie IN the cinema. HAHA. Many firsts this year for me.

Hmm. Ice Kacang Puppy Love. It was sort of a sudden plan to go and watch this. And again, this is my first time watching a Malaysian film in cinema. (I think I should be supporting M'sian films more XD) Actually at first I really didn't expect much out of this film.. but it really took me by surprise. I expected the story line to be veryy typical. But it wasn't. And the ending is certainly not what you expect it to be. I think the ending made me like the film a lot. After watching the film somehow it made me wanna eat ice kacang. xp

Yeap! It's a 2009 film. Decided to watch this at home one day since I heard it's really good. And it is. The dog is sooo cutee! "I was hiding under your porch because I love you." AWWWW!!! It's a really touching movie, though it was a little slow to me. There was a line that made me ponder after watching it. It was something like Russell saying "I think the boring stuff is the stuff I remember the most. " I think that statement is kinda true.. don't cha think so?

HAHA yeahh I know this is super old but I only watched it this year.. The toilet scene is REALLY GOOOD! AHAH! Total thumbs up for this!

Toy Story 3 is one of the movies I won't be forgetting soon. I give it 5 full stars. It makes you laugh cry and everything. I remember there was a scene that was a little scary too. Yeah. Hee. I love the 3 alienssss! They're soo cutee! "ooOOooohhh the clawww" hahah! If you're ever bored at home and pondering on what movie to watch.. this is one movie that can definitely entertain you. =)

2 Malaysian films again! Really good movies too.

PAPOI! XD

Peter Pevensie: Lucky you know.
Lucy Pevensie: What do you mean?
Peter Pevensie: You've seen him. I wish he'd just given me some sort of proof.
Lucy Pevensie: Maybe we're the ones that need to prove ourselves to him.

How true...

Oh this movie is worth watching in 3D. XD

Yeap. Nearly all the movies I've watched so far in 2010. I personally think every story you hear or movie you watch will change you a little somehow. =) Oh well. Hope I won't forget the lessons (the good ones) learnt through these movies... and the company too. X)

Kingda Ka

It's a roller coaster if you're wondering. Hee.

So what's been up with life. It's a whole new year woooohooo. Feels the same. Well all I can see ahead of this year is changes.. lots of them. Like they say right? The only constant thing in life is change. How true. By June I'll be done with my A-Levels (and hopefully do good enough) and enter Uni. Uni...that word seemed so distant when I was a kid. Still seems a little distant to me now. However distant it seems that word certainly does fit my age!

Okay so back to the exams. It's overr!!! Exam was okay... it ate away my whole January. But the papers were alright...except for Physics 2 .... and 4 which I took just now. I just know that I wrote lotsa weird and funny (to my sis and bro) answers in my paper. Different way of thinking ma... The rest were a blur.. but I know for every Bio paper I was blasted either by the aircond or the fan.

I somehow feel awkward when I blog nowadays. Absent from the blogging world too long maybe? Meanwhile gonna watch moviesssss... and play Nancy Drewsssss... while munching on cookiesssss my sis brought back. Yay XD
